Yesterday after church we had (blissfully) quiet afternoon, and Mini-man (10) was not quite able to appreciate it...
Mini-man: "I'm bored."
Me: "..."
Mini-man: "...I'm a board certified surgeon."
Me: "ohkk..in what area of medicine?"
Mini-man, after thinking for a moment: "Tuberculosis."
This conversation was odd on so many fronts. But I love my Mini-man.
